A speaker in another tongue

Occasionally we have a visitor in Germany who "is volunteered" to speak to one of our congregations. If the person doesn’t speak German, it’s no problem. We can handle another tongue – if it is English!

Neal Kinsey in Dormagen United Church of God elder Neal Kinsey, a resident of that great state of Missouri, visited our Dormagen congregation on February 18, 2006. It was his first time to speak at a UCG-Germany church service. Neal is an agronomist with an international reputation, and he was on his way to Berlin for a conference. He spent a couple of nights in Dormagen. Neal’s sermon on what it means to be the "salt of the earth" was well received. Neal spoke in English, of course, and his sermon was translated into German by UCG-Germany editorial staff member Jesmina Allaoua. In fact, the sermon was so interesting that we may make a transcript of it for our local "United News" in German. Come back anytime, Neal – we can handle your "other tongue"! 🙂
