This year’s summer camp in the UK got off to a good start.

Yesterday I accompanied two campers from Switzerland to the UK camp site in Buxton, just south of Manchester. David and Barbara Fenney and their staff are looking after 11 young campers this year. The weather on the first day of camp was sunny and cool, as we walked from our camp lodging to Poole’s cavern and then had a picnic lunch in a beautiful city park with a spectacular view of the hills surrounding Buxton from "Solomon’s tower". The UK camp runs through Sunday.
