50 km on a bike |

Today’s activity for the European youth attending the "Dutch Down" was 50 km (33 mile) bike ride.
Maarten De Jong organized and hosted the activity at his home near Zeist, which is one of the few forested places the Netherlands. Most of the route was through the forest. The day was mostly cloudy and cool with temperatures in the low 70s so it was quite a pleasant ride. One of two of our group mentioned that there were some inclines (there was a mild one near the end), but 50 km on a bike is quite achievable if you are riding in the Netherlands, which is a flat country. 🙂
