Thanks to our "Middle East" translator |

Jesmina Allaoua and I met with the man who translated the United Church of God "Middle East" booklet into Arabic to thank him for his work.
A little over two years our Home Office in Cincinnati received an unusual offer from an Iraqi living in Bonn. He offered to translate the United Church of God "Middle East" booklet into Arabic free of charge. The booklet was finished earlier this year, and Jesmina and I wanted to meet our translator again and thank him for his work. We gave him a gift certificate from the UCG-Germany National Council for a local restaurant and a card signed by the Council of Elders of the United Church of God. We also gave him nine copies of the printed booklet that we had received from Peter Eddington. Our volunteer translator was very happy to receive them and commented on the high quality of the work. He also mentioned that he has a journalist friend in Israel, an Israeli who speaks fluent Arabic and who is interested in the booklet. So one of the copies will be heading to Israel in the next few days. 🙂
